Polling to pick up more than one version per component at every polling run Hot

by Hardy Chou on January 20, 2016

Currently SDA only picks up one version at every polling run per component. For example, if the polling period is set to 5 minutes, then for every 5 minutes, SDA will only pick one version for that component. There is high chance that there will be more than just one version. Hence, there is a need to pick up more than one version per component at every polling run.

System is working as intended, changing the polling mechanism will cause confusion. Other approaches are available to upload new versions if needed.

    Hi Hardy,

The system is polling on the scheduled basis that you define. There are alternative options to create these new versions, for example using a push model (via REST) as opposed to the pull model. The system is behaving as designed and changing this mechanism will cause a lot of confusion, so this request is being declined.
    Thanks,
    Julian
