I believe there is a known issue around slow performance when you run out of licenses, see the article:
    http://knowledgebase.serena.com/infoc...
A workaround would be to ensure that you have enough licenses to cover your usage.

I am not aware of any workaround beyond what is mentioned in the article, other than buying more licenses.

Are all users actively doing teamTrack work? You may be able to recover some licenses if you change the Auto logout inactivity timer to bounce idle users.

Only during peak period we encounter this. I don't think all users are active all the timings. Thank you for suggestions.
Can you advise how to recover licenses, if the uses are inactive for 25 mins?

The timeout for licenses in SBM is 60 minutes. If your users are inactive for 25 minutes, the license will be recovered after an additional 35 minutes.

is it possible to use always (N-1) licenses instead of N licenses?
    RESERVE 1 TeamTrack USER SUPERADMIN
is above syntax will always reserve "1 license" to Global admin user?
Let us know is it possible to have such option in License Manager, so that we should not
    hit max. at any point-of-time
    Regards

That's the point of Named licenses - they are tied to a single user. If you buy a Named license for your Global Admin user, they will always be able to access the product.
