Expert Tool Chain process Hot

Process and conditions to determine the expert tool chains

  • When the developer delivers the changes, it has to go through multiple tool chains.  Let's assume the first expert is static code analysis, the second is security vulnerability check, the 3rd is Jenkin build.  The development team needs a process model to define the 3 experts and based on condition determine whether it will go to the next chain.  If the code fails the 2nd security vulnerability check, then the 3rd step on Jenkins build need not be invoked

  • 14.3 includes a special expert that allows you to abandon an expert chain if the previous expert has indicated an overall failure. This still allows the previous expert to generate error log lines and error findings without stopping. It will only take effect if the previous expert has returned a run failure code. Have a look at the documentation for more details.
