Logical Delete of Peer Review comments

Logical Delete of Peer Review Comments

  • Currently, in CM 14.4, the system administrator is unable to delete the peer review.  It is also not wise to delete away the comments because of corresponding reply and response between the developer and peer reviewer.  Therefore, please allow the System Administrator to logically delete the comments.

When the developer or the peer reviewer looked at the peer review, the logical deleted comments and responses will not be shown.  However, if the system administrator login, he is able to look at all the comments including the logical deleted ones.

  • Please login to view any attachments.

  • We expect customers to use the "Abandon Review" menu item (available to admins) to delete a Peer Review (doesn't actually delete it for audit reasons similar to those stated in Details tab, but removes it from most listings and no-one has to do anything more to it).

We would probably allow deleting an individual review comment without the complexities mentioned because the audit trail is actually held in the "Activity" section at the top of the review page (try editing a review comment, then look at the Activity section to see what i mean), but it is correct that consideration would need to be given to comments that had replies from other people.
