Navigate Source code for Peer Review in Pulse

  • In CM 14.4 Pulse, the peer review form showed the previous and current version of the source code and highlight the change.  The peer reviewer is also able to comment on the changes.

    If the peer reviewer would like to drill down to the object (s.draw()), the peer reviewer have to check the dependencies in Eclipse now.  Eg.

    Shape s = new Circle();

    s.draw();

    There are 2 options available:

    1.  Allow the peer reviewer to perform peer review from Eclipse, Visual Studio, Desktop and Windows Explorer client or

    2.  Enable peer reviewer to drill in from the Web client

  • Please login to view any attachments.

  • In 14.4 we added a repository browser and you can jump from the code review to browsing the files in the repository indirectly through the changeset page.

    The ability to become more context aware and be able to drill into objects and their definitions is something that we are currently considering.
