Advanced SQL (Pass-through SQL) WHERE clauses in reports do not support "query at run-time". Allow me to prompt for multiple values at report run-time and use those in an Advanced SQL WHERE clause. Al...low prompting the user for string values to be passed to Advanced "pass-through" SQL report WHERE clauses. Using an example from the Reports Guide for "Finding Items Submitted by Members of a Group". Here is the example from the Guide: @WHERE tablename.TS_SUBMITTER IN ( SELECT TS_ID FROM TS_USERS WHERE TS_USERS.TS_ID IN ( SELECT TS_USERID FROM TS_MEMBERS WHERE TS_MEMBERS.TS_GROUPID IN ( SELECT TS_ID FROM TS_GROUPS WHERE TS_GROUPS.TS_NAME = 'Technical Support' ) ) ) Here is the example using Query At Runtime for the name of the group instead of the hard-coded value "Technical Support": @WHERE tablename.TS_SUBMITTER IN ( SELECT TS_ID FROM TS_USERS WHERE TS_USERS.TS_ID IN ( SELECT TS_USERID FROM TS_MEMBERS WHERE TS_MEMBERS.TS_GROUPID IN ( SELECT TS_ID FROM TS_GROUPS WHERE TS_GROUPS.TS_NAME like '%{Enter group name or partial name}%' ) ) ) That report would prompt the user "Enter group name or partial name". The response would be substituted into the WHERE clause where it is surrounded by "%" wildcards. More

Currently, subrelational fields are available when creating notification rules, but they aren't available when specifying the Delay Parameters on Escalations.

We need to add a way to better test notifications prior to them going live in production.  Many customers have struggled with either the logic in the rule conditions or not included a condition to nar...row the recipients to a specific user or group of users.  This has resulted in test messages being sent in mass and in some cases resulted in a bad taste for SBM from executive management. We need an option that fits with the SBM change management best practices when you copy your database back to your lower environments from production but does not require you to alter all of your notifications in order to test. Currently the options to test email notifications in environments other than production is only possible if you set the action on each notification to use the console plugin, or to do a database update on the TS_NOTIFICATIONS table and set the TS_SENDTYPE to zero.  Neither of these options are helpful if you test your notifications and then want to promote them in a snapshot to production. A design option would be to add a email server type for the Notification Server to write to a log file vs. email server connection info.  Perhaps this could write to the log the recipients, template and conditions that satisfied the notification rules that triggered the notification to execute. The TS_AdminChanges already gives a clue that something was done, but does not indicate what was changed.  Having knowledge of changes made would allow us to audit changes made by Managed Administrato...rs or via System Administrator. The TS_AdminChanges already gives a clue that something was done, but does not indicate what was changed with a user record, permission, record added or deleted.  We also need a report available from either Work Center or the Application Administator.  As a report, we can have a link to the added/updated record.  Include previous and new values of items where applicable. This is all extremely important when it comes to changes in privileges or membership of users / groups / roles.   More
